Job Description
In this role, the Specialist, Material Management Tester will contribute to software testing and digital system validation initiatives supporting Quality Control laboratories. The position involves preparing structured test plans, executing manual and automated testing, documenting outcomes, and identifying software defects. The role also supports SDLC documentation, including SIT and UAT, and contributes to GMP validation of the Biovia OneLab–Biovia CISPro platform. Ensuring compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and data integrity standards is central to this Life Sciences Jobs opportunity within MSD Careers.
Key Responsibilities
- Create test plans, scenarios, and test scripts.
- Implement manual, automated, and exploratory testing methods.
- Evaluate and document testing results.
- Report software defects and usability issues.
- Provide feedback to developers and stakeholders.
- Develop SDLC documents, including SIT, UAT, and test summaries.
- Support GMP validation of the Biovia OneLab–Biovia CISPro platform.
- Ensure compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and data integrity standards.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Information Technology.
- Experience: 3–7 years as a Tester in a regulated GxP pharmaceutical laboratory environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Experience with Computer System Assurance (CSA).
- Experience with Laboratory Information Systems (LIMS) or Laboratory Execution System (LES).
- Experience with Biovia CISPro.
