- Position: Project Associate-I
- Job Location: Manipal, Karnataka
- Salary: Rs. 31,000/- per month
- Project Duration: Initially for one year, extendable based on performance and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Work under the DBT-funded research project.
- Assist with day-to-day laboratory activities related to the project.
- Perform Molecular Biology-related research work.
- Support Protein Purification activities.
- Contribute to project-based research at the Department of Microbiology, Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Manipal.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- MSc./MTech in Life Sciences (Microbiology/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology) with 1 year experience in:
- Molecular Biology
- Proteomics
- Bioinformatics
- OR
- BSc. Life Sciences
Desirable Qualifications
- Preference will be given to candidates having experience in Molecular Biology, along with hands-on experience in Protein Purification.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year experience in Molecular Biology, Proteomics, or Bioinformatics (for MSc./MTech candidates).
- Experience in Protein Purification will be preferred.
- Candidates should be capable of assisting with daily laboratory activities.
