Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end case-related pharmacovigilance activities supporting pharma research and development.
- Ensure timely safety reporting to regulatory authorities.
- Review clinical and post-marketing safety information to identify potential safety signals.
- Contribute to risk assessment activities that protect patient safety.
- Analyze safety data using company systems to detect trends and patterns.
- Escalate important findings to medical safety experts.
- Prepare clear and accurate case narratives for audits and inspections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional research and development teams.
- Integrate safety insights into study design and product lifecycle decisions.
- Coordinate with quality and compliance teams to follow pharmacovigilance procedures.
- Support continuous improvement of standard operating procedures.
- Prepare safety sections for regulatory submissions and periodic safety reports.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions to improve pharmacovigilance practices.
- Work with technology and data teams to enhance pharmacovigilance tools.
- Participate in internal audits and provide required documentation.
- Adapt to a hybrid work environment using digital collaboration platforms.
- Transform safety data into meaningful insights for responsible medicine use.
- Manage assigned workload and ensure timely completion of safety activities.
Qualifications
- Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related discipline.
- Strong scientific knowledge for evaluating drug safety information.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with global stakeholders.
- Commitment to continuous learning of pharmacovigilance guidelines and research methodologies.
Experience Required
- 2–4 years of experience in pharma research and development.
- Direct experience in pharmacovigilance practices and processes.
- Experience with safety data review tools and databases.
- Knowledge of pharmacovigilance data management concepts.
- Practical experience in case intake, coding, assessment, follow-up, and safety data processing.
