Key Responsibilities
Scientific Exchange & KOL Engagement
- Identify, develop, and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals in oncology.
- Deliver balanced, evidence-based scientific information on the company’s oncology products and disease areas.
- Facilitate advisory boards, CMEs, and scientific roundtables.
Medical Strategy & Insight Generation
- Implement country-level Medical Affairs plans aligned with global strategy.
- Gather and synthesise actionable insights from the field to support clinical development and lifecycle management.
- Support real-world evidence generation.
Launch & Education Support
- Provide scientific support for new oncology product launches.
- Train internal teams, including sales and marketing, on disease state and product science.
- Develop educational content for healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Clinical Development, Regulatory, Market Access, and Commercial teams.
- Contribute to strategic planning and execution of oncology initiatives.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure all activities comply with company SOPs, ICH-GCP, and local regulatory guidelines.
- Accurately report adverse events and product complaints.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Life Sciences (MBBS, MD, PhD, or equivalent qualifications).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Medical Affairs or as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in oncology.
- Strong knowledge of oncology, haematology, and biomarkers.
- Excellent communication and scientific presentation skills.
- Ability to confidently interpret and discuss clinical trial data.
Experience
- At least 2 years of experience in Medical Affairs or Medical Science Liaison roles within oncology.
- Experience engaging with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals.
- Experience supporting oncology product launches and medical strategy execution.
- Familiarity with clinical development, lifecycle management, and real-world evidence generation.
