- Project Title: Targeting Human Papillomavirus Replication and Cancer Progression Using Proteolysis-Targeting Chimeras (PROTACs)
Applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens for the temporary position of Project Assistant under the ANRF-funded research project in the laboratory of Dr. Leny Jose, Scientist-E1.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in research activities related to the ANRF-funded project.
- Support laboratory work associated with molecular biology and cell biology.
- Contribute to project-related experimental and research activities under the guidance of the Principal Investigator.
Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess:
- Master’s Degree in Biotechnology from a recognized University.
- Minimum 70% marks in the qualifying degree.
- Consistently excellent academic record.
Essential Requirements
- Good theoretical understanding of molecular biology and cell biology.
- Good communication skills.
Desirable Qualification
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- NET or GATE qualification.
- Experience with Python and Linux.
- Experience in TCGA analysis.
- Experience in cell culture.
- Experience in infectious diseases.
- Experience in small-molecule/degrader screening.
Age Limit
Maximum 28 years as on 17 July 2026.
Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India norms.
Emoluments
₹27,000 per month + 20% HRA.
Duration
The appointment will initially be for one year or until the termination of the project, whichever is earlier. The tenure may be extended based on performance evaluation.
Selection Process
