Role Overview
The Project Coordinator – Core Laboratory supports imaging studies conducted as part of global clinical trials by coordinating project activities, maintaining study documentation, and ensuring efficient communication between clinical study sites and internal teams. The role contributes to the successful execution of imaging projects by managing timelines, tracking study progress, coordinating imaging supplies, and supporting operational activities within Medpace’s Core Laboratory.
As one of the founding team members of Medpace’s Hyderabad office, the Project Coordinator plays an important role in establishing local operations while collaborating with global project teams to deliver high-quality clinical research services.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination
- Compiles and maintains project-specific status reports for imaging studies.
- Tracks project timelines and monitors study progress to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
- Supports day-to-day coordination of imaging-related activities across assigned clinical studies.
- Assists in maintaining accurate project documentation and study records.
Imaging Study Support
- Maintains inventory of imaging supplies required for clinical study sites.
- Coordinates the distribution and tracking of imaging materials to ensure uninterrupted study operations.
- Supports imaging study logistics and operational planning throughout the project lifecycle.
Stakeholder Communication
- Serves as a point of communication between clinical study sites and internal project teams.
- Collaborates with cross-functional departments to facilitate smooth execution of imaging studies.
- Provides timely updates regarding study status, project progress, and operational issues.
Documentation and Operational Support
- Ensures project records and study documentation remain organised, accurate, and up to date.
- Supports adherence to internal procedures, project timelines, and quality standards.
- Assists with administrative and operational activities that contribute to successful project delivery.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering (required).
- A master’s degree or PhD in Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
