Key Responsibilities
- Data cleaning, compilation, and organization of datasets.
- Preparation of compiled datasets with quantitative summary reports, including descriptive statistics and key analytical insights.
- Mapping of all types of Ultra-Processed Foods (UPFs) and HFSS food products.
- Development of policy briefs and state-level fact sheets on different domains of food marketing regulation and restriction.
- Conduct policy-focused research on existing and emerging challenges of obesity and Ultra-Processed Food (UFP) consumption.
- Organize meetings, webinars, and consultations with different stakeholders.
- Draft reports, briefs, progress reports, and research documentation.
Qualifications
Essential Qualification
- First Class Post Graduate Degree in: Biostatistics, Regenerative Medicine, Life Sciences, or a related discipline. OR
- First Class Graduate Degree in: Biostatistics, Regenerative Medicine, Life Sciences, or a related discipline, along with 1 year of experience in Public Health or a related field.
Experience
Desirable Experience
- Knowledge of public health research methods, epidemiology, and population-based surveys.
- Experience in analyzing large datasets, including NFHS, LASI, NSS, Census, etc.
- Experience in systematic literature reviews.
- Scientific writing, including research papers, manuscripts, and technical reports.
- Preparation of project reports, research documentation, and progress reports.
