BHU Biochemistry Fellowship 2026: Senior Research Fellow (SRF) Recruitment
The Department of Biochemistry, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), invites applications for the post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) under an Institution of Eminence-BHU sponsored Bridge Grant Project. Key Responsibilities
- Work as a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in an Institution of Eminence-BHU sponsored Project (Bridge Grant).
- Contribute to research activities related to Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular and Human Genetics, Life Sciences, Microbiology, Zoology, and Bioinformatics.
- Assist in project-related research work for the duration of the sanctioned project.
- Support scientific investigations and research objectives under the guidance of the Principal Investigator.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- Candidates should have at least 55% marks in both B.Sc. and M.Sc.
- The M.Sc. degree should be in:
- Biochemistry
- Biotechnology
- Zoology
- Molecular and Human Genetics
- Life Sciences
- Microbiology
- Bioinformatics
Research Experience
- Two years research experience in the areas mentioned above is mandatory.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of research experience in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Zoology, Molecular and Human Genetics, Life Sciences, Microbiology, or Bioinformatics.
- Experience relevant to project-based research activities will be preferred.
