Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of beverage formulations in line with project briefs
- Prepare and evaluate lab samples within defined timelines
- Execute experiments and maintain accurate, well-organized records
- Participate in sensory evaluations and incorporate feedback into development
- Collaborate with senior developers, sensory teams, and the analytical team
- Assist in ingredient evaluation and trials, including new materials
- Ensure proper documentation for development and handover processes
- Share observations, learnings, and updates with the project team
Qualifications
Master’s in Food Technology / Food Science / Chemistry / Alcohol Technology or related discipline
Experience Required
1–3 years of experience in product development (preferably beverages – alcoholic or non-alcoholic)
Internship or academic project experience in a related field is acceptable
Skills Needed
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Basic understanding of FSSAI regulations and labeling requirements
- Familiarity with common beverage ingredients such as sweeteners, acidulants, flavors, preservatives, and stabilizers
- Awareness of beverage manufacturing processes such as blending, filtration, and filling
- Exposure to pasteurization and carbonation is an advantage
