Key Responsibilities
- Supporting pathologists for drafting pathology reports
- Generation of anatomic pathology report tables from applicable data collection/reporting systems
- Generation of reporting templates for pathologists
- Insertion of clinical pathology generated tables in the clinical pathology reports
- Provides QC review of pathologist-generated data for completeness and accuracy
- Provides support for client peer reviewing pathologists, as necessary
- Prepares peer review data packets
- Familiarizes and learns proficiency in specific software used in study conduct or reporting
- Maintains client confidentiality at all times
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science specialized in animal science, biology, laboratory pathology, toxicology, microbiology
- 2 years experience with toxicology or non-clinical GLP studies
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year or more experience in CRO environment
- 1 year or more experience in Documentum and Toxicology Reporting software
- 1 year or more experience in producing scientific reporting, technical writing, document production/publishing
Skills Required
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize workload and problem solve with little or no direct supervision
- Prior experience working in deadline driven environments
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment and procedures and awareness of quality control and calibration
- Computer proficiency, with ability to master PC-based software applications
- Ability to accurately read, record, and communicate information
