- Position Title: Post-Doctoral Fellow (PDF)

- Fellowship: Rs. 80,000/- per month

- Project Title: Tea-Microbe interactions and microbial Bioactive metabolites against plant and human pathogens
Qualifications
- Essential: Ph.D degree in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/Life Sciences(Botany)/ Molecular Biology /Plant Pathology/ Agricultural Biotechnology from a recognized University/ Institute with research experience in plant-microbe interactions/microbial biocontrol of diseases and pests or bioactive metabolites against multi-drug resistant pathogens
- Desirable: Research experience in microbial consortia, plant disease management, metagenomics, etc. Hands-on molecular techniques experience. Candidates with submitted PhD thesis can apply.
- Essential Criteria: At least 2 first author publications (in the relevant subject area) in peer-reviewed national and/or international journals each having more than 2 impact factor.
Duration
Appointment will be for a period of 12 (twelve) months which may be extended maximum for a period of one year (6 months at a stretch) depending on the satisfactory performance of the candidate.
