About the Opportunity
Amity University Uttar Pradesh invites applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Project Associate at the Amity Institute of Molecular Medicine & Stem Cell Research (AIMMSCR). The selected candidate will work on a research project focused on improving resistance against Botrytis cinerea through chickpea PGIP engineering approaches.

Duration
- Initially for 1 year
- Extendable annually based on satisfactory performance and project funding
- Maximum tenure: 3 years or until project completion
Fellowship: ₹37,000 per month + 24% HRA
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications
- M.Sc. / M.Tech. or equivalent in:
- Biotechnology
- Life Sciences
- Biochemistry
- Allied disciplines
- Minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying degree.
- Candidates awaiting final results of their Master’s degree may also apply.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates qualified in national-level examinations such as:
- CSIR-UGC NET
- DBT-JRF
- ICMR-JRF
- GATE
Desirable Skills
