About the Opportunity

The selected candidate will work on a research project focused on improving resistance against Botrytis cinerea through chickpea PGIP engineering approaches.

  • Project Title: Utilizing chickpea PGIP engineering to bypass effector recognition for enhancing resistance against Botrytis cinerea

Duration

  • Initially for 1 year
  • Extendable annually based on satisfactory performance and project funding
  • Maximum tenure: 3 years or until project completion

Fellowship: ₹37,000 per month + 24% HRA

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications

  • M.Sc. / M.Tech. or equivalent in:
    • Biotechnology
    • Life Sciences
    • Biochemistry
    • Allied disciplines
  • Minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying degree.
  • Candidates awaiting final results of their Master’s degree may also apply.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates qualified in national-level examinations such as:
