Job Responsibilities:
- Carry out assigned technical jobs of conducting experiments and upkeep of equipment/units, laboratory/pilot plant, and record data with diligence. Research Assistant Jobs often require meticulous data collection.
- Set up reactor assemblies /experimental setups to carry out tests/experiments.
- Carry out preparation/synthesis of samples in a lab scale, which is a process frequently encountered in research assistant jobs.
- Doing structural, textural & mechanical testing/ characterization using relevant equipment such as XRD, Physisorption/chemisorption unit, TPD, microscopy, Thermal analyzer, IR/UV-Visible spectrometer, GC, HPLC, etc.
- Upkeep of reactors & analytical instruments and usage log in laboratory/pilot plant.
- Maintain a record of spares/consumables in the lab and initiate the procedure for replenishment, which is often part of daily research jobs.
Education Requirement:
MSc (preferably) in chemistry/biology is an essential qualification for most research assistant jobs at Reliance.
Experience Requirement:
Fresh to 3 years in an Industrial Chemical laboratory or a QA/QC laboratory is ideal experience for candidates looking for research assistant jobs.
