Project Title
“Development of Indigenous Platform for Gene Therapy of Spinal Muscular Atrophy.”
Role Overview
The Project Associate-Ib will contribute to a research project focused on developing gene therapy platforms for spinal muscular atrophy. The role involves working in a molecular biology and bioengineering research environment with responsibilities spanning laboratory work, process development, and quality compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory research in molecular biology and related fields
- Support assay development and experimental workflows
- Assist in cGMP facility operations
- Contribute to SOP generation and documentation
- Support quality assurance activities
- Participate in research and development activities related to gene therapy
Educational Qualification
M.Tech / M.Sc. in:
- Biotechnology
- Biosciences
- Biochemistry
- Microbiology
- Bioengineering
- Or any relevant discipline
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Strong background in molecular biology
- Hands-on laboratory experience
- Experience in cGMP operations
- Knowledge of assay development
- Familiarity with SOP generation and quality assurance processes
Emoluments
₹30,000 per month + 20% HRA
