About the Role
The LOCB Lab at the Centre for Biomedical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, is seeking a full-time, on-site Enzyme Assay Specialist for glucometer development and testing. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting enzyme assays, with a particular focus on glucometer-related applications, and performing day-to-day analysis of experimental results.
The role involves ensuring high standards of accuracy and precision in assay procedures, maintaining quality control protocols, and collaborating closely with interdisciplinary research teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform enzyme assays relevant to glucometer development
- Analyze experimental data and interpret enzymatic activity results
- Ensure accuracy, reproducibility, and quality of assay procedures
- Maintain laboratory standards and documentation
- Collaborate with research teams on ongoing projects
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in conducting enzyme assays, particularly for glucometer testing
- Strong understanding of enzymatic reaction mechanisms and analytical techniques
- Proficiency in laboratory procedures and equipment related to enzyme assays (e.g., GOD, POD kinetics)
- Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field
