Role Overview
The Documentation Executive – NPD is responsible for managing documentation systems and data workflows related to new product development. The role ensures accurate tracking of recipes, specifications, approvals, and product launches while enabling seamless coordination across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a centralized repository for recipes, SOPs, specifications, and product documentation
- Manage MIS dashboards for NPD projects and SKU launches
- Track product development stages including trials, pilot runs, approvals, and commercialization
- Update master trackers for SKUs, ingredients, packaging, and vendor approvals
- Ensure version control for recipes, SOPs, and related documentation
- Coordinate with R&D, QA, Operations, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams
- Generate periodic MIS reports for leadership review
- Support data analysis related to product performance and launch tracking
- Maintain COA records, product specifications, and compliance documentation
- Ensure documentation readiness prior to product go-live timelines
- Support audit readiness through structured documentation practices
- Update internal systems (ShopTree, menu systems, ERP) with product data
- Monitor timelines and follow up with stakeholders for pending inputs
- Ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and integrity of all NPD-related data
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing large volumes of documentation and data in a fast-paced environment. The individual should be comfortable coordinating with multiple teams and handling time-sensitive deliverables.
Educational Qualification
- Degree or Diploma in Food Technology
Experience
- 2 to 4 years of experience in documentation, MIS reporting, or operations coordination
- Experience in QSR, FMCG, or food manufacturing environments is preferred
