Position Overview
The QA Executive is responsible for ensuring hygiene standards, supporting operational quality processes, and managing quality assurance and quality control activities within the plant. The role plays a critical part in maintaining compliance with food safety standards and ensuring product quality across operations, making it an essential Food Science job for anyone seeking this career path.
Key Responsibilities
- Support third-shift operations for approximately 15 days per month
- Conduct daily pre-dispatch inspections
- Perform glass audits in process areas on a weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis
- Ensure plant hygiene and compliance with FSSAI Schedule 4 standards
- Oversee labeling of imported products at bonded warehouses (approx. 15 days)
- Monitor cold room conditions, including temperature, WIP, raw material status, and labeling
- Support New Product Development (NPD) trials and prepare reports
- Deliver daily training (“pep talks”) to shop floor teams on personal hygiene and GMP practices
- Assist in incoming packaging material testing and clearance
- Verify implementation of CAPA related to pest control audits
