Name of the Post: Principal Scientist (Molecular Biology)

Job description
1. Molecular Biology activities involved in making recombinant constructs for stable and transient gene expression like PCR amplification, restriction digestion, molecular cloning of genes, sequence confirmation, glycerol stock preparation, large scale endotoxin free DNA preparation.
2. Analytical skills and activities related to protein estimation and characterization like CEDEX, ELISA, SDS/Western Blot, Octet and HPLC.
3. Standard cell culture activity such as: Vial thaw, Subculturing, Transfection, single cell cloning, cryo-preservation, fed batch, Monoclonality assurance.
4. Document and record maintenance like SOP/GM and data recording in eLN. Timely revision of SOPs.
5. Candidate should be able to coordinate with cross functional team for on time delivery of assigned projects.
Required Qualification:
1. MS/MSc/MTech in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology or any other related life sciences
2. No PhD
3. Industrial Experience of 5 – 7 Years Required (Academic background will not be considered)
