Job Title: Executive / Sr. Executive – QC Microbiologist

Reports To: Manager – Quality Control
Experience: 3 to 6 years
Salary Range: ₹5 to ₹7 LPA
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and implement laboratory procedures, policies, and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct microbiological testing, result analysis, and proper documentation.
• Assist in method validation for sterility, bioburden, and endotoxin testing of medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and polymer-based products.
• Perform and support investigations related to sterility assurance and environmental monitoring.
• Conduct routine analysis of raw materials and finished products as per established specifications, including:
o Sterility
o Bioburden
o Endotoxin
o Antimicrobial Effectiveness Testing (AET) / Preservative Efficacy Testing (PET)
o Growth Promotion Testing
• Perform atypical particulate inspection on finished products.
• Support sampling and microbiological testing of facility water systems (e.g., WFI, CS).
• Review and approve test data for sterility, bioburden, endotoxin, and AET for both raw materials and finished goods.
• Conduct technical reviews of test results for completeness, accuracy, and cGMP compliance.
• Oversee preparation of culture media, reagents, test samples, and microbiological equipment.
• Prepare and maintain microbial cultures for identification and testing purposes.
• Assist in lab setup and continuous process improvements.
Education Qualification: B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related life sciences discipline.
