ADVERTISEMENT FOR PROJECT POSITION
Applications are invited from Indian nationals only for the project position(s) under the consultancy/research project titled:
Title of the Project: Computer-aided structure-based molecular engineering of nanobodies against SARS-CoV-2 spike protein
Sponsor: ICMR
Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – 1 Position
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Virology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks. Candidates must have qualified for the NET or GATE.
Desirable Experience:
- Microbiology and molecular biology techniques
- Cloning, expression, and purification of proteins
- Cell culture, ELISA, Western blot, PCR, and RT-PCR
Emoluments:
- ₹37,000 + 9% HRA per month for 2 years
- ₹42,000 + 9% HRA per month in the 3rd year
Duration: 1 year or until the project concludes
Job Description:
- Media preparation and bacterial culture
- Cloning, expression, purification, and crystallization of proteins
- Performing cell culture, ELISA, Western blot, PCR, and RT-PCR
