Job Description:

We are looking for a Formulation Scientist to join our team and contribute to the development and optimization of product formulations in industries such as Agricultural Fertilizers, Micronutrients, Animal Nutrition & Feed Supplements, and Sericulture Disinfectants. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all formulations meet specific performance standards and comply with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Formulate new products and improve existing formulations by evaluating raw materials, conducting stability studies, and performing compatibility testing.

2. Develop and maintain detailed documentation of formulation procedures, including batch records, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality control (QC) records.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality assurance, to ensure timely and successful commercialization of new products.

4. Conduct thorough analysis of data and provide recommendations to management regarding optimization of formulations, processes, and equipment.

5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements related to formulation development and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.

6. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography), GC (Gas Chromatography), and UV-Vis spectrophotometers, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

7. Train and mentor junior formulators and laboratory technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.

8. Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.

Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry or Agricultural Sciences
