Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Food Microbiologist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in microbiological techniques and a keen interest in ensuring food safety and quality through laboratory testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine microbiological analysis of food, raw materials, and water samples.
• Perform sample preparation, culturing, staining, and identification of microbial organisms.
• Ensure proper documentation of test results and maintain laboratory records.
• Monitor lab equipment and ensure calibration and maintenance is up-to-date.
• Follow all safety and quality assurance protocols.
• Assist in preparing reports and communicating findings to the senior microbiologist or quality team.
• Maintain a clean and organized lab environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Food Technology, or related field.
• 0–1 year of laboratory or food industry experience.
• Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and microbiological lab practices.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new testing procedures.
