Overview: The Application Specialist will play a key role in developing sales of automation products in the region. Reporting to the Application Manager, responsibilities include customer engagement, sales support, technical support, application training, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement

• Build and maintain relationships with key customers and industry influencers
• Conduct market research and gather insights specific to Automation and Genomics

Sales Support

• Develop sales tools and provide product training to the sales team
• Participate in pre-sales activities and deliver technical presentations to customers as Application Specialist

Technical Support

• Provide troubleshooting assistance to customers using Automation and Genomics applications
• Analyze technical issues and work with the development team to implement solutions

Application Training

• Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers on Genomics and Automation applications
• Create training materials and provide ongoing support and guidance as Application Specialist

Minimum Qualifications:

• MSc/MTech in Biological Sciences/Chem Eng/Biotechnology
• 3-5 years of technical/applications experience in Life Sciences or relevant doctoral degree
• Strong knowledge of Automation, Genomics, and Cell Based Assays as Application Specialist
• Excellent problem-solving skills and cultural awareness
• Ability to work independently and travel as needed
