CSIR-Institute of Microbial Technology is inviting applications for the position of Project Associate-II for the project titled “Fermentation & downstream scaleup for soluble expression of E. coli based recombinant CRM197 carrier protein” under Project Code: MMP-025201.

Position Details:

Position: Project Associate-II (PAT-II)

No. of Vacancies: 01

Essential Qualification: Masters/Integrated Masters in Natural or Agricultural or Pharmaceutical Sciences MVSc/Animal Sciences, or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent with 2 years of experience in Research and Development.

Desirable Qualification: Knowledge/experience in high density fermentation, recombinant protein expression, purification, and protein characterization.

Upper Age limit: 35 years (Relaxation in the age limit for the candidates belonging to the category of SC/ST/PwBD/Women and the category of OBC shall be 05 years and 03 years respectively).

Monthly Emoluments:

(i) Rs.35,000/- +HRA for qualified candidates and Rs. 28,000/- + HRA for others. Those who have qualified national level examinations conducted by central government department like DBT/DST or equivalent and/ or their agencies/ Institutions.

(ii) Rs. 28000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above.
