PI Industries seeks a highly motivated Research Scientist to drive impactful research and development. This role involves designing and executing scientific experiments, interpreting results, and delivering valuable insights to enhance PI’s business.

Roles & Responsibilities as Research Scientist –Fermentation

Key Responsibilities

• Contributing strategically to the overall success of Biotechnology R&D by driving innovation and enhancing team performance, aligning with departmental/organizational goals.
• Ensuring the security of intellectual property for R&D.
• Carrying out literature search by use of all available analytical tools.
• Executed POC studies and managed scale-up methodologies from lab scale to pilot scale.
• Preparing technical reports and documenting all research results obtained through presentations.
• Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams as per requirement.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and proactively participate in laboratory maintenance.
• Attention to detail in experimental design, execution, and data analysis and interpretation.

Education Qualification 

Ph.D./M.Sc./M.Tech. in Biotechnology from a reputed university with excellent academic credentials and peer-reviewed papers/patents.

Knowledge of fermentation /purification and biotransformation process development & scale-up for microbial platforms for small molecules, Enzymes & Proteins.

Sound experimentalist with experience in industry/academia. Worked with Biotechnology, Biopharmaceuticals, and Agrochemical Industries.
