Job Title: Scientific Writing Intern
Work Location: Biotecnika Headquarters, Bangalore
Job Type: Intern, Full Time
Working Hours: 9 Hours per day, 5 Working Days
Stipend: Rs 10,000 pm
Key Responsibilities
Scientific Writing and Research:
- Conduct thorough research on various topics related to life sciences and biotechnology.
- Generate content ideas and pitch them to the editorial team.
- Write and edit articles, news stories, scientific notes, Creatives, social media posts and other types of content.
- Ensure all content is accurate, well-written, and adheres to Biotecnika’s editorial guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to generate content for social media and other digital platforms.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in life sciences and biotechnology.
- Meet deadlines and ensure timely delivery of content.
Digital Skills and Tools Utilization:
- Social Media Engagement: Utilize LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube to increase visibility and engage relevant audiences.
- Email Marketing and Web Presence: Implement email marketing strategies and maintain an active website.
- Data Mining and Analysis: Employ analytical tools to gather information on target audiences, including email addresses and LinkedIn profiles, and trade show participation.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in life sciences, biotechnology, or a related field.
- Proven passion and ability for writing and must be a voracious reader.
- Strong research skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of scientific writing and digital content creation.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing concepts.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Enthusiasm for learning about industry trends.
