We are seeking a skilled professional for a role focused on protein biochemistry and downstream processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of reagents and buffers required for various purification steps.
• To ensure batch processing as per protocol for the PP-driven activity & ensuring batch processed as per the requirement for non-PP-driven activity.
• Responsible for batch preparations, process execution, and operational monitoring of various downstream purification steps such as low-pressure chromatography, Nanofiltration, TFF, etc.
• Responsible for fumigation – Pre & post plating & incubation and eLN documentation.
• Compliance with procedures related to quality systems (e.g. SOP, EOPs, IOPs, SAM, GM, etc.).
• Adherence to safety, health, and environment measures.
• Responsible for protein concentration check by Solo VPE / UV Spec and eLN result reporting, along with inventory maintenance.
• To ensure GDP, eLN documentation & batch/data review.
• Responsible for sample segregation and transfer to respective teams.
• Should be able to work in shifts (A, B & C).

Technical/Functional Skills:

• Clear basic knowledge of protein biochemistry and downstream processing.
• Experience in handling purification systems such as AKTA Pilot, AKTA Avant / Pure, TFF system, etc.
• Experience in handling analytical instruments like HPLC, Solo VPE, UV-Spectrophotometer, etc.
• Ability to follow protocols and procedures for flawless execution of downstream batches.
• Handling instrument calibration/maintenance, interacting with maintenance and vendor teams for effective instrument utilization and troubleshooting.
• Data compilation and documentation skills with the ability to maintain raw data with clear traceability and in an orderly manner.
• Capability of troubleshooting process and analytical challenges.
• Should be well-versed in basic statistics and have experience using statistical software such as JMP, Minitab, etc.
• Knowledge of LIMS-eLN.

Educational/Industry Experience Required:

• Minimum of BTech/M.Sc./Master’s in Biotechnology, Microbiology, or Biochemistry.
• Industry experience of 3-6 years.
• Non-PhD candidates are open to apply.
