Business Development Executive
Location: Bengaluru (On-Site) | Experience: 6 months – 2 Years in Genomics
About The Role:
Genotypic Technology is a leading provider of next-generation sequencing (NGS) services and solutions. As a Business Development Executive at Genotypic Technology, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to generate new leads and sales opportunities. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key customers and partners.
Job Description:
- Lead generation: Find potential customers.
- Lead conversion: Convince them to do business with you.
- Proposal preparation: Outline your business offerings.
- Customer contact: Stay in touch with customers and leads.
- Billing and collections liaison: Ensure invoices are accurate and payments are collected on time.
- Market research and reporting: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Proposal/tender preparation: Respond to RFPs and tenders from potential clients and government entities.
- Customer data bank: Maintain a database of customer information.
- Marketing and sale of the cutting-edge Oxford Nanopore Technologies sequencing machines and related products.
Job Requirements:
- Master’s in Biotechnology or a related field.
- 6 months – 2 years of experience in genome informatics.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
