Position: JRF (Two posts)
Salary: Rs. 37,000/month +HRA (JRF) As per DST rules and guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience for JRF:
Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate /Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through anyone of the following:
- Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professor) and GATE.
- The selection process through National level examination conducted by Central Government Department and by their agencies such as DBT, DST, DAE, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, MoE, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER, ICMR etc.
Desirable: Ph.D./M. Tech./M.Sc./B.Tech. Bioinformatics/Systems Biology/Computational Biology/Computer Science and allied sciences /Mathematical modeling and simulation
Tenure: The selected candidate will be appointed purely on a temporary basis.
The initial appointment may be for Twelve months (1 Year) or as per the recommendation of the selection committee, which can be extended on the basis of the assessment of the candidate’s performance and the discretion
of the Competent Authority. The eligible candidates may further be shortlisted based on their qualifications/experience depending on the total number of applications received. JNU may select a candidate against the above post depending upon the qualifications and experience of the candidate and reserves the right to relax any of the qualification(s) in case the candidate is found otherwise well qualified by the Selection Committee.How to Apply:
