Subject: Engagement of One Junior Project Fellow on a contractual basis under the PAC – approved programme (9.01) titled “A Study of the Utility of NCERT Secondary Science Kits (SSK) (Classes 9th & l0th) across the country” – reg.

The Division of Educational Kits (DEK) proposes to conduct a walk-in-Interview to engage One Junior Project Fellow (JPF) under the above-mentioned programme. The engagement will be purely on a contractual basis. The terms and conditions and other requirements of the fellowship are as under:

Tenure of the Fellowship – Upto 31st March 2024 from the date of joining.

Age Limit – Below 40 years as per UGC guidelines.

How to Apply

The Walk-in-Interview will be held on 18.05.2023 (Thursday) in the Division of Educational Kits, Room No.5, Ground Floor, Workshop Building, NCERT’ Sri Aurobindo Marg, New Delhi-110016.

The registration of eligible candidates will be done from 09.30 AM to 11.00 AM in the
office of DEK, Room No.7. No candidate will be entertained after 11:00 AM.

The interested candidates who fulfil the required eligibility conditions as mentioned above may attend the Walk-in-interview along with their application(s) in the prescribed format, original PG degree/mark sheet. Date of birth Certificate/School Certificate having date of birth, Experience Certificate, copy of any one document viz’ Aadhar Card/Voter ID card/Passport/driving license. – One set of self-attested photocopies of the  Certificates/ testimonials and one passport-size photograph may also be submitted at the time of the walk-in interview.

Note:-

  1. The nature of engagement of JPF will be on a contractual basis.
  2. The selected candidate will be required to join immediately.
  3. No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview or for joining the post.
  4. The candidates who have already worked in the Council as IPF for two and half years
    are not eligible for the post.
  5. Candidates already employed should get their applications forwarded through their Employer or bring a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the employer at the time of the Interview.

Essential: Master’s degree in Physics/(Chemistry /Zoology/Botany with a minimum of 55% Marks or equivalent in the case of  general category (50% marks or equivalent in the case of SC/ST/

Desirable:

  1. Degree/ Diploma in Education
  2. Knowledge of Computer Applications
  3. National Eligibility Test (NET) qualified in any of the Science subjects mentioned above.

Value of Fellowship

  • Rs.25,000/- p.m.(Fixed consolidated for NET Qualified candidate)
  • Rs.23,000/- p.m.(Fixed consolidated for Non-NET Qualified candidate)
