Sea6 Energy is a company working on the development of large-scale cultivation of seaweed using floating farms, and manufacturing of seaweed-based products for applications primarily in Agriculture, with the aim of further venturing into several other value-added products with applications in Animal Feed, Food Additives, and Renewable Plastics.
The company needs a Research Analytical Chemist based out of Bangalore who can optimize and implement analytical methods in seawater samples, and also be involved in sensor development and validation.

Name of the Post – Research Analytical Chemist
Location – Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
Responsibilities –
- Develop analytical protocols for measuring various analytes in aqueous solutions.
- Optimise and reduce analyte volumes.
- Develop and validate analytical sensors for continuous monitoring.
- Support with CHNS, AAS, ICP-OES, GC-MS etc analysis of samples.
Qualification and skills –
- MSc in Chemistry with emphasis/specialization in Analytical Chemistry or a B.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering/Biotechnology.
- Candidates with good experience and mechanistic knowledge of analytical techniques will be considered.
- 1-4 years of experience is preferred but not essential.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Ability to coordinate with vendors, suppliers and colleagues.
- The person with good logical reasoning and with interest in R&D.
- Team player with good interpersonal skills to work together with highly qualified scientists and engineers.
