CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow, a premier Institute under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), is involved in multidisciplinary R&D programs of both basic and applied nature. CSIR-CDRI is a pioneer biomedical research organization in India and has the infrastructure and expertise to develop a drug from concept to commercialization. Stipend – Rs. 18,000 + 16% HRA
Essential Qualifications – B.Tech (Biotechnology or Computer Sciences)
Desirable Qualifications – Proficiency in Computer Applications, including knowledge of LINUX OS/Machine learning/ Artificial Intelligence methods.

- Rs. 31,000/- + 18% HRA p.m. to Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
- 25,000/- + 18% HRA p.m. for others who do not fall under (i) above.

Stipend – Rs. 28,000+ 18% HRA p.m.
Essential Qualifications – Master’s Degree in Biochemistry or Bioinformatics with 2 years of experience in Research and Development in industrial and academic institutions or Science and Technology Organisations.
Desirable Qualifications – Experience in mammalian cell culture and molecular modelling.
Timing:- Eligible candidates are required to report for the Interview at 9:00 A.M on 29-11-2022 (For Position Code No. 001, 002 & 003 Area of Pharma and Computer) and 02-12-2022 (For Position Code No. 004, 005, 006 & 007 Area of Life Sciences and Chemistry). Candidates reporting after 10:00 A.M will not be entertained. The eligible candidates may appear before the Selection Committee for an interview on the date and time mentioned above at CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute, B.S. 10/1, Sector 10, Jankipuram Extension, Sitapur Road, Lucknow-226031. Eligible candidates must bring with them a duly filled application (which can be downloaded from our website www.cdri.res.in), with original & self-attested copies of mark sheets/certificates etc. along with a recent passport-size photograph. Tentative mark sheets/certificates and ‘result awaited’ will not be considered.
General Conditions
- Age relaxation will be admissible to SC/ST/OBC/PWD & Women candidates as per Govt. of India/CSIR/Funding Agency Guidelines.
- Suitable Candidates may be empanelled for future requirements if any, under different projects.
- The date for determining age/qualification and experience shall be the date of the interview.
- The above positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the aforementioned projects. The engagement in these projects will not confer any right implicit or explicit on the candidate for consideration for regularization against any CSIR/CDRI post(s).
- The number of positions against the various projects can vary at the time of selection depending on the requirement of the institute.
- Position Code will be cancelled if funds are not available in the advertised concerned project.
- The Director, CSIR-CDRI has the discretion to increase or decrease the number of positions or cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
- Interim queries will not be entertained.
- No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
