WALK IN INTERVIEW

This Institute intends to engage services of the following post on a contractual and co-terminus basis for IMR / Collaborative projects for a period of Initially for Six (06) months which is likely to be extended till the tenure of the project.

Name of the Post – Junior Research Fellow (Pharmacognosy/Botany)

No. of Posts – 02

Age: Not exceeding 35 years as on 01.01.2022

Remuneration – Rs.31 ,000/- p.m. + HRA(27%)

Essential – M.Sc. (Botany) from a recognized University/ Institution.

Desirable –

1. Sound knowledge of drug development, Pharmaacognostical techniques, drug standardization and Experience with any research project by the Ministry of AYUSH, ICMR, CSIR, DST or equivalent organization with at least one year of research experience in the field of medicinal plants.
2. Sound knowledge of preparation of Herbarium samples, cataloguing and maintenance of museum samples of plants as well as crude drugs.
3. Skills in drafting, and editing scientific documents/ articles /technical reports etc.,
4. Publications in peer-reviewed journals.
5. Working knowledge of computer applications.

How to Apply –

Interested candidates fulfilling the above criteria should fill out the prescribed proforma along with self-attested copies of certificates in support of age and qualification and two passport-size recent photographs. The candidates are required to appear for a Written test/interview at the above-mentioned address along with a filled prescribed proforma. The candidates who are attending an interview will be required to cany their original testimonials for verification. The interested candidates must reach the venue (Central Ayurveda Research Institute, Kolkata, 4- CN Block, Sector -V, Bidhannagar, Kolkata – 700091) at 10.00 am for registration and beyond that, no candidate will be allowed to written test/interview.

General terms and conditions –

1. The engagement is initially for a period of six months, which may be curtailed or extended at the discretion of the Competent Authority.
2. The engagement would be purely on a contractual basis and co-terminus with the projects and no claim for the continuance of regular appointments will be entertained.
3. The candidate who is selected for the above post has to go on a tour to any place in West Bengal.
4. The eligibility of candidates in respect of age will be determined as of 01.01.2022. Relaxation of age for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. of India Rules.
5. Interested applicants should bring their dully filled application witl1 a set of photo copies of self-attested Certificates, Marks sheets, Caste certificates Experience certificates etc. along with originals & two recent passport-size photographs.
6. The candidates are required to appear for a written test/interview at the above-mentioned address at 10.00 am for registration and beyond that, no candidate will be allowed.
7. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written test/interview.
8. Candidates already working should produce ”No Objection Certificate” in case he / she is employed elsewhere.
