Job Title: Junior Research Fellow
Job Code: PA2J101022J
Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science, Microbiology, Agriculture or allied subjects with NET/GATE and qualified as per the DST norms.
Desirable Qualification: Experience in fieldwork, working experiences in the NGO sector, Research Intuition in the field of applied science, development of livelihood activities in tribal areas/, and Good knowledge of computers and MS Office. Candidate should speak, Read and write Odia, English and Knowledge of project report writing
Job Description: The candidate
is expected to monitor the progress of the project, write project reports, and assist the principal investigator to achieve the following- Knowledge of laboratory work in microbiology will give preferences like Trichoderma, BGA, Rhizobium, PSB etc.
- Organizing meetings, training, workshops and capacity-building programmes for various stakeholders
- Development of supply chain mechanism for farmers’ produce through linkage with Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs)
- Preparation of business plan and evolving market strategies to promote Bioinput production and certified foundation seeds of identified paddy and finger millet varieties Niger etc.
- Database preparation, documentation of the project activities, report writing, and writing case studies and research articles.
