Name of the Project – “Re-evaluation of late Paleozoic spores and pollen from Indian Gondwana sequences to resolve gaps in global correlation and palaeobiogeography” (MoES/P.O.(Geo)/211 /2019)

Name of the PI – Dr. Pauline Sabina Kavali (Scientist-E & Principal Investigator)

Name of the Co-PI: Dr. Runcie Paul Mathews (Scientist-D & Co-Principal Investigator)

Project Tenure: 36 months or co-terminus with project

Age* – Not exceeding 28 years as on 05.11.2022.

*Age: Relaxation is admissible for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category or women candidates as per Govt. of India rules.

The short-listed candidates will be intimated subsequently through email to appear before the selection committee for an interview. The incumbent shall have no implicit or explicit claim of regular absorption in any post in the Institute or in the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt. of India. No T NDA will be admissible for attending the interview.

Essential Qualification

  • 1st Class M.Sc.in Geology/Botany and allied subjects OR Final year appeared M.Sc. Students of Geology/Botany and allied Subjects with results awaited.
  • CSIR/UGC-NET/GA TE Qualification will be preferred.

Fellowship – Rs.31,000/- p.m. + 16% HRA

House rent allowance (HRA) may be allowed to the JRF as per Central Govt. norms applicable in the Institute. The Fellowship amount may be taken as basis for calculating the HRA amount.
