A Junior Project Fellow position is available in the Entomology Department of Tocklai Tea Research Institute, TRA, Jorhat, Assam, under an Ajay Biotech (India) Ltd sponsored project titled “Biofighter formulation for eco-friendly management of major tea pests in North East India.”

Project duration – For a period of 11 months only.
Age limit – 28 years as of the date of the interview.
Project Duration – 18 months (likely to be extended). The appointments will be purely on a contractual basis; hence, the Institute will not provide any employment after the completion of the project.
Place of work – Tocklai Tea Research Institute, Jorhat, Assam. The selected candidate has to travel extensively along tea estates of Assam, Tripura and West Bengal.

Essential Qualification – M. Sc in Life Sciences with specialisation in Entomology/ Zoology/ or equivalent with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks from a recognized University.
Monthly Fellowship – Fellowship of INR. 25,000/- plus 8 percent HRA per month
