MISSION MODE RECRUITMENT NOTICE FOR SCIENTIFIC POSITIONS UNDER
ICMR HQRS AND ITS INSTITUTES/CENTRE

Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) is an Autonomous Organization, under the Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India. ICMR is dealing with biomedical / health research in various areas, in collaboration with national/international agencies, through its Headquarters in New Delhi and 27 Institutes / Centres and a large number of field stations, situated across the country.

ICMR invites online applications up to 1st July 2022 till 5:30 PM to fill up the following vacancies of Scientist-C in the Pay Level -11 Rs.67, 700-Rs.2,08,700 (pre-revised Grade pay-Rs.6600/-) from Indian Citizens, for appointment on regular the basis under Direct Recruitment, under Mission Mode Initiative, to fill the

vacancies:-

Name of the Post – Scientist-C (Bio-informatics)

No. of Posts – 08

Upper Age Limit – 40 years

Fee – Application Fee of Rs. 1500/- (Rupees one thousand five hundred only) is required. SC / ST / Women / PWD / EWS candidates are exempted from application fee. The application fee is to be paid by candidates, through an online link, given in the application form. Application fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

How to Apply –

1. Candidates should apply only online at https://recruit.icmr.org.in.
2. A separate application has to be submitted for each post/specialization, with the required application fee.
3. Following self-attested documents are required to be uploaded along with the
   application –
   a) Proof of Date of Birth
   b) Educational qualifications
   c) Experience

Note:

1. Ph.D. will be considered as four years’ experience (irrespective of the duration taken to complete the degree)
2. The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be as per the guidelines of the Department of Personnel and Training, GOI issued from time to time. However, the prescribed age may be relaxed in exceptional cases, for experienced and qualified candidates by the DG, ICMR.
3. In case applicants are from Private Sector or Laboratories / Institutions abroad, the Screening Committee shall decide the equivalency of PayScale.

Essential Qualifications –

1. First Class Post Graduate degree from a recognized University in Bio-Informatics.
2. Four years R&D/ teaching/ working experience in a Govt/ Public Sector/Private Institutions / in Bio-Informatics.
   OR
3. Second Class Post Graduate degree with Ph.D from a recognized University in BioInformatics
4. Four years R&D/ teaching/ working experience in a Govt/ Public Sector/ Private
   Institutions in Bio-Informatics.

Consolidated Emoluments – Pay Level -11 Rs.67,700-Rs.2,08,700 (pre-revised Grade pay-Rs.6600/-)
