Subject: New Extramural Research Proposals
CSIR-Human Resource Development Group (HRDG) provides financial assistance to promote research work in the fields of Science & Technology, including Agriculture, Engineering and Medicine by way of grants to various Scientists/Professors/Experts in regular employment at various institutions and universities. Typically, the research proposals are received and processed round the year. Thereafter, the research proposals are considered by the discipline-wise research committees to recommend grants for viable research schemes/proposals who will receive financial assistance from CSIR-HRDG. Owing to the unprecedented Covid-19 pandemic, large number of applications for 2020-21 & 2021-22, are currently being taken up for processing. In view of the foregoing, the submission of new proposals for a research grant is suspended temporarily with immediate effect. A new call for proposals will be announced subsequently.
