Name of the Project – “Climate Change Impacts and Adaptation for a Climate Resilient North East India” under the National Mission for Sustaining the Himalayan Ecosystem (NMSHE)

Age – The age of the candidates should not be more than 40 years as of the date of the interview. The upper age limit may be relaxed as per Government of India rules.

Duration – Appointment will be initially for a period of one (01) year, which may be extended further depending upon satisfactory performance of the incumbent and co-terminus with the project or until further order, whichever is earlier.

appear before the interview board with original and self-attested photocopies of mark sheets, certificates from 10th standard onwards, Annexure-I, testimonials, caste certificate (if applicable), No Objection Certificate (if applicable) experience certificate (if any), certificate of NET/GATE (if any), copy of the publication (if any), two passport size photographs and a copy of recent signed Curriculum Vitae (CV) on the day of the interview. Verification of original documents of the candidate(s) will be done before appearing on the interview board.

N.B.

1. No. TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
2. Those in employment must submit a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the concerned employer.
3. Candidates appearing for the walk-in-interview should fill up the application form enclosed as Annexure-I.
4. The decision of the Selection Committee/Tezpur University authority would be final and binding in all aspects.
5. Appointment of project staff is purely temporary, and award of fellowship does not confer any right for absorption/employment in Tezpur University.

Essential Qualification – Candidates should have PhD in Agriculture/Environmental Science/Applied Biological Science.

Fellowship – Rs. 47,000 (Rupees forty-seven thousand) only per month plus 8% HRA as admissible if no accommodation is provided by the Institute.
