North Eastern in India”
Age Limit – Minimum age limit – 25 years as on Interview Date (Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/ physically challenged and women candidate)

- The post is purely temporary on a contractual basis and co-terminus with the project. Further claim for any post will not be entertained thereafter.
- Tenure of the project – Two years till January 2024 or till completion of the project
- In case of a large number of applications, the Institute may shortlist the candidates
based on qualifications. Accordingly, only shortlisted candidates will be called for
interview - The shortlisted candidates will be informed about the date, time and platform
(meeting ID/meeting link) of the interview. - Canvassing in any form will lead to the cancellation of candidature.

further information/updates, if any. - The decision of the Director shall be final and binding in all respects
- Manipuri and Bengali language speaking candidates will be preferred
- Women candidates will be preferred
Essential Qualifications – Bachelor’s Degree in life science/ Sericulture/ Agriculture/Social Science and P.G. Diploma in Sericulture with first class. [Equivalent to 60% marks, 55% for SC/ST candidate]
Desirable qualifications – Masters’s degree in the above-mentioned discipline. One
year of experience in Field/Societal research projects. Knowledge of computer operations.
Nature of Job –
- Assisting in Implementation of Project
- Extensive Data collection and analysis
- Documentation
- Tour to study areas (Dahali District of Tripura and Chandel district of Manipur) for Research and Development activities.
Emoluments – Rs. 15,000/Month (Consolidated)
