Number of Positions – One
Name of the Project – “Development and evaluation of peptide-derived moieties for antimicrobial activity, particularly antifungal activity against pathogenic Zygomycetes”
Name of the PI – Dr Rachna Singh
Tenure – Three years (2021-24)
Duration – The appointment is purely on a temporary (contract) basis and co-terminus with the project. It is terminable with a one-month notice from either side. Since the project is temporary, the incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointment under ICMR or continuation of his/her services in any other project.
Age Limit – 30 years (age relaxation as per Govt. of India/ICMR guidelines)
Selection Process – The candidates will be selected based on their academic
credentials and performance in the interview.Application Instructions –

Salary – Rs. 31,000 p.m.
Educational Qualification – Graduate in Microbiology/Biotechnology or an allied subject from a recognized university with three years of work experience from a recognized institution or Master’s degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology or an allied subject
Desirable Qualifications – Preference will be given to postgraduate candidates and those with experience in Microbiology, especially Medical Microbiology.
