National Supercomputing Mission (NSM) Platform for Geno

Development of a fast, flexible, high-performance computing framework to accelerate NGS omics-data analysis.

We are looking for motivated and bright individuals interested to explore career opportunities in this innovative multi-organization initiative in National Supercomputing Mission (NSM) at NIBMG in the positions mentioned below:

These positions are contractual, and appointments will be initially given for one year/co-terminus with the project, which is extendable depending upon the performance and requirements of the project. Consolidated Remuneration [INR] per month: 35000/-

Essential Qualification:

1. M.Tech /M.C.A/MSc in Computer Science/ Bioscience / Statistics/ Bioinformatics/
   Biophysics/ Bioengineering or related discipline.
2. Expert in next-generation sequence (NGS) data analysis and Strong UNIX scripting knowledge.
3. Published scientific papers/whitepapers in reputed journals.

Desirable Qualification:

1. Minimum 1 year of experience in web development skills (Python and Django, HTML, CSS, JS)
2. Experience in Python or R.
3. Experience in API & database development.

Nature of Duty:

1. Building of web components/ back-end and front-end data integration /integrate bioinformatics pipeline.
2. Data analysis.
3. Report writing
