Online applications are invited up to 18/06/2021 for the following post under HIV Sentinel Surveillance Project. This post is totally temporary as well as is to be filled for the project duration. HIV sentinel surveillance (HSS) is a yearly activity of tracking the HIV epidemic in the country with the objective of understanding the level as well as trends of the HIV epidemic among different population groups. NARI is responsible for the training, implementation and also supervision of this program in the Western Indian States.

Essential Qualification: Candidates need to possess 1st Class Master Degree in life sciences(Microbiology/ biology/ physiology/zoology/health sciences) from a recognized university with 2 years of experience OR 2nd class Master’s degree with a PhD in pertinent subjects from a recognized university.
Desirable Qualification:
- Minimum 2-year experience of having worked in a public health program is mandatory
- Proficiency in English
- Knowledge of computer application with experience in statistical packages like SPSS
- Experience of having actually worked in an HIV/ AIDS program is desirable
- Experience in conducting and monitoring large scale field surveys
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and supervision of fieldwork.
- Capacity to undertake extensive travel in the study area
- Training, monitoring quality of site-level implementation
- Data compilation, data validation, data analysis as well as report preparation
- Any other task assigned by the supervisor from time to time
