How to Apply:
Age Limit for the above positions:
- 35 year for Men and 40 years for Women in case of SRF on the date of the Interview.
- 30 year for Men and 35 years for Women in the case of JRF on the date of the Interview.
- 21 to 45 Young Professional-I & II on the date of Interview.
- 21 to 45 years on the date of Interview for Office Assistant.
(Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and PHC as per GOI/ICAR rules)
Terms & Conditions:
- The selected candidate shall have no right/claim for regular appointment at this Institute, as the engagement/appointment is co-terminus with the project/scheme.
- Only Indian citizens will be eligible to submit an application for appearing in the online interview.
- The interested candidates must submit their applications in prescribed format along with self-attested scanned copies of the following documents on the e-mail address: [email protected] by 5-00P.M. of 16-06-2021. The applications received after this deadline will not be considered for interview being late applications.
1) Application form duly completed in all respect strictly in the prescribed format.
2) Pass Certificate/Mark Sheet of Matriculation Examination for age verification.
3) Degree Certificate and Marks sheet/Transcript for Graduation.
4) Degree Certificate and Marks sheet/Transcript for Post-Graduation.
5) Degree Certificate and Marks sheet/Transcript for Ph.D if required.
6) Certificate for experience/Training/Associateship and publication if any in relevant filed.
7) Documents related to NET qualified and experience wherever is applicable.
8) SC/ST/OBC/PH certificate as applicable.
9) Copy of No Objection Certificate for the candidates who are already employed
somewhere.
10) Those candidates who are already working in any project/ scheme/organization Should submit “No Objection Certificate” from his present employer.
11. The interested candidate should upload a scanned copy of the Original Degree Certificate as required in essential qualification (at least PDC as well as Marks sheet/Transcript for the Essential Qualification) should be uploaded failing which his/her application will not be considered for an online interview.
12 The experience will be counted in the relevant field after acquiring the basic
minimum Qualifications. - The applications received online up to deadline only will be shortlisted/examined by a
Competent Committee on the basis of documents submitted with each applications considering relevant criteria as per the requirement of each position. The online applications received without required documents will not be considered for an online interview and such type of incomplete applications will be rejected straightway. - After screening of the applications in accordance with qualification criteria, a list of the
shortlisted/eligible candidates along with the suitable date & time of online interview of each position will be displayed/uploaded on the NDRI website. The candidates who submitted their applications are advised to keep a check on the NDRI website for updates. It is assumed that online interviews will be arranged/held within the month of June-July of 2021. - Only shortlisted/eligible candidates will be considered for an online interview as per the preference of the candidate.
- In order to conduct the online interview, the link will be sent to the e-mail ID of the shortlisted/eligible candidates as reflected in their application format.
- The shortlisted/eligible candidates for each position must keep themselves ready at least 30 minutes before the start of the online interview on the scheduled date and time.
- It will be expected that the candidate has access to a stable internet connection and the hardware (video & audio) for appearing in the virtual mode interview.
- ICAR-NDRI will have no liability for poor internet at the candidate end that hinders the interview process.
- The selected candidate (s) will have no right to claim employment or engagement in ICAR-NDRI at the end of the contract period as the positions are purely temporary on a contractual basis which are Coterminus with the project/scheme.
- The selected candidates will be given a provisional selection offer letter. The selected candidates will be required to produce original documents as submitted along with their online application for verification at the time of their joining. In case any false claim in the documents is noticed during verification,
their provisional offer of selection will stand cancelled. - Concealing of facts/canvassing shall lead to disqualification of the candidature.
- In case of any disputes, they will be resolved within the jurisdiction of Karnal Court only.
- The decision of the Director, ICAR-NDRI Karnal will be final and binding in all aspects.
- The selected candidate must follow the COVID-19 guidelines released issued by MHA
and local authorities from time to time at the time of his/her joining at ICAR-NDRI,
Karnal.
For Post I
Emoluments: Rs. 35,000/- pm fixed
Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate Degree in Animal Nutrition/Dairy
Microbiology/Microbiology/Animal Biochemistry/Bioinformatics
Desirable Qualifications: Experience in Rumen Microbiology/Animal
Nutrition/Microbiology.

For Post II
Emoluments: Rs. 35,000/- pm plus HRA at 8 percent
Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate degree in any one of the following discipline:- Dairy Microbiology/ Microbiology/ Applied Microbiology/ Medical Microbiology/Industrial
Microbiology/Food Microbiology/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Biochemistry with NET (CSIR/UGC/ICAR/ICMR etc.) and GATE with 02 years of research experience in relevant
field.
Desirable Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in the area of microbiology, antimicrobial resistance testing and resistome analysis with metagenome data using advanced bioinformatic tools, along with hands-on knowledge of routine technique in Microbiology and molecular biology.

For Post III
Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/- pm plus HRA at 8 percent for 1st and 2nd year & Rs. 35,000/- per month plus HRA at 8 percent for 3rd year.
Essential Qualifications: Master degree in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Microbiology/Veterinary Sciences with 4 years/5 years of bachelor’s degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in basis science with 03 years of Bachelor’s degree and 2 years master degree in above discipline should have NET qualification and 02 years of research experience in relevant/research filed.
Desirable Qualifications: the candidate should have research experience in animal cell culture, in vitro embryo production, CRIPSR editing, and somatic cell cloning etc.

Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/- pm plus HRA at 8 percent
Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree in any one of the discipline subject: Animal
Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Physiology/Life Sciences from a recognized University. Candidate having post graduate degree in basic or Professional Sciences with 3 /4 years bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualified.

For Post V
Emoluments: Rs. 35,000/- per month + HRA at 8 percent
Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate degree in Dairy Chemistry/Dairy
Technology/Food Technology /Food Science and Technology/Food Chemistry/ Biochemistry (specialization in Animal Science) with NET qualification and 02 years of research experience in relevant field
Desirable Qualification: Experience in food analytical techniques, nutritional analysis
and product development. Proficiency in the use of computer application.

For Post VI

Bachelore’s degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Science with 3 years of Bachelore’s degree and 2 years of Master degree in above discipline should have NET qualified and 02 years of research experience in relevant filed
Desirable Qualification: The candidate should have research experience with animals, in vitro embryo production and somatic cell cloning etc.

For Post VIII
Emoluments: Rs. 35,000/- pm plus HRA at 8 percent
Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate degree in Basic Science or Post Graduate degree in the professional course in the following discipline: Biology(Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Molecular Biology/Genetic Engineering/ Animal Biotechnology/ Animal Biochemistry) with NET qualified and 02 years of post-qualification research experience in relevant field.
Desirable: Research experience preferably in protein expression and purification, chromatographic techniques, Cell biology, Molecular Biology, mammalian Cell culture, milk proteomics and proteomics related Animal Biotechnology.
