Job Name: Senior Technical Assistant

Name of the Project: Development of new generation vaccine formulations against human and poultry pathogens and survey of its possible socio-economic implications in healthcare. (UoH/IoE/RC1/RC1-20-017)
Name of the PI: Prof Sharmistha Banerjee
Duration: Appointments is made for one year and also is extendible after review yearly up until the duration of the project.

Qualifications: M.Sc with at the least 2 years experience of handling retroviruses/HIV, Mycobacteria as well as cell culture. Experience with various vector systems for expression of proteins, gene manipulations in eukaryotic and also prokaryotic systems and hands-on training in microscopy and expertise in immune-techniques are essential for handling various objectives under the project.
Salary: Rs, 25,000 (Consolidated) pm
