We are looking to hire a Research Executive, Home Care Hygiene – microbe control based in Bangalore

The Hygiene team is involved in generating insights and delivering brand-new technologies for delivering exceptional hygiene benefits through our products. Among the key thrust areas within the program is to build the Hygiene abilities as well as identify and screen next-generation antimicrobial technologies for microbe control in hygiene, next-gen preservatives, understanding the Mode of action of actives as well as prevention of Odour to claim hygiene benefits.

This role will focus on acquiring and performing the following responsibilities:

• The candidate is expected to work in the lab to carry out “on the bench” experiments
• Evaluate IT free preservatives using standard protocols for laundry liquids as well as various other homecare formulations
• Design, develop as well as validate brand-new microbiological methods for next-gen preservation in HC
• Understand the role of formulation ingredients for self-preservation in some HC formulations
• Understanding of regulatory tests in microbiology relevant to preservation
• Interpret data and communicate scientific outcomes with technological reports and also presentations
• Management of microbiological outsourcing services (in specific areas as appropriate) with an audit of 3P analytical laboratories

Key Requirements:

• M.Sc. in Microbiology
• 1-2 years of research experience in Microbiology related projects gained either with industrial or academic research
• Hands-on experience in classical microbiology, method development as well as molecular biology favoured
• Experience in data validation and also documentation
• A basic appreciation of statistics and data analysis tools
• Sound knowledge in basic data processing software
• Should be a team player and also have good communication skills
• Interested to develop knowledge and also understanding of current and emerging analytical techniques
• Very well organized, self-motivated, enthusiastic and confident.
