Applications are invited by the undersigned from the qualified candidates for ONE post of Junior Research Fellow, in the following DBT-CSB multi component Network project entitled
“Genetic Enhancement of Mulberry by Genomic Approaches: Subproject NW4a sponsored by Central Silk Board, Government of India.

Tenure of Project: January 2021 to August 2021 or completion of the project whichever is earlier.

Qualified candidates may appear for a Walk-in-Interview at the time as well as venue given listed below with biodata, a passport size photograph, originals as well as one copy each of educational qualifications from SSLC, PUC/Higher secondary, B.Sc., M.Sc. etc., proof of date of birth

, experience certificate and caste certificate for SC/ST applicants, together with valid e-mail Id and telephone/mobile numbers and contact details. Candidates should bring the copy of M.Sc. dissertation and publications; if any at the time of interview.

2. Time: 9.30 AM (Candidates must reach the venue by 9 AM for confirmation of documents).
3. The entry of candidates will is permitted only till 12 Noon.
4. Venue: Central Sericultural Research & Training Institute (CSRTI), Manandavadi Road, Srirampura, Mysuru-570008.
5. Upper age limitation: 28 years as on 05/12/2020 (relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/ Physically challenged as well as women applicants).
6. No TA/DA will be provided to attend the interview.
7. The above-mentioned position is purely short-term on a contractual basis and also co-terminus with the project. Further claim for any post will not be entertained thereafter.

Essential Qualification: First class [equivalent to 60 % marks (55 % for SC/ST applicants)] M.Sc. in Biochemistry/ Botany/Agriculture/ Life Science.

Desirable Qualification: Research experience in wet-lab experiments in Plant Biochemistry.

Emoluments: Rs. 15, 000/- monthly plus admissible HRA. (Rs. 20,000/- per month plus admissible HRA for NET qualified applicants).
