WALK-IN-INTERVIEW for engagement of Senior Project Associate, Proiect Associate-I, Project Associate-II and Project Assistant etc
DATE OF WALK-IN-INTERVIEW – 1,2,3 & 4th February 2021
The eligible and interested candidates may appear in Walk-in-Interview on the respective date as detailed below for totally temporary engagement as Senior Project Associate, Project Associate-I, Project Associate-II and Project Assistant etc under AROMA MISSION Project at CSIR CIMAP, Lucknow. The eligibility criterion is as follows:
Date Walk-in-Interview: 2nd February 2021 only for Biological Sciences
Reporting Time: 9.30 AM to 11:30 AM
Mode of Selection: Selection is to be done on the basis of performance in Interview. A written test may be conducted if the applicants appear in higher Nos.
General Terms & Conditions:
- Engagement will be initially for a period of one year and may be extended or curtailed depending upon the project requirement. and desired level performance or conduct of the incumbent, as the case may be.
- The tenure or Project Staff shall be co-terminus with the project. However, under no circumstances the tenure would be allowed to exceed five years duration. The performance of the Project Staff would be reviewed periodically so that anyone not found up to the mark, could be terminated.
- The position is only temporary and, therefore, will not confer any right on the incumbent to any claim, implicit or explicit in any post in CSIR-CIMAP.
- The upper age limit is as mentioned for the above positions will be as on date of Walk-in-Interview, which is relaxable up to 5 years when it comes to applicants coming from scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes/Persons with disabilities/ Women/ OBC.
- Special age relaxation in case of widows divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands, who are not remarried as per rules.
- On completion of the tenure in one project, in case, one wants to apply for engagement in another project, he/she will have to go through the process of selection by submitting a fresh application under the new project. Engagement or the Project Staff under the new project would be made only after submission of resignation and
“No Demand Certificate” in the previous project. - Wherever possible accommodation will be provided to project staff, if accommodation is not possible, HRA will be paid as per rules. If accommodation is provided, the licence fee would be deducted as per CSIR rules.
- The Project Staff shall be permitted to avail leave and dispensary facility, as per rules.
- The Institute provides canteen facilities as is being provided for regular staff members on payment of a suitable charge.
- Experience, where required, will be counted from acquiring minimum educational qualification.
- Final semester and results awaited candidates will not be allowed to appear for the interview.

Essential Qualification for CIMAP Job: B.Sc in Biological/ Life Sciences( Botany/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/Environmental Science/Microbiology/Plant Science)
Desirable: Work experience in Medicinal and Aromatic Plants favoured.

Stipend per month:
- Rs. 31,000/ plus HRA
- Rs. 25,000/ plus HRA
Essential Qualification for CIMAP Job:
- M.Sc. in Biological/Life Sciences (Botany/ Biochemistry/Biotechnology/ Environmental science/ Microbiology/Plant Science) with CSIR/UGC/ICAR/ DBT-NET-JRF/ LS qualification or GATE.
- M.Sc. in Biological/ Life Sciences( Botany/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/ Environmental Science/Microbiology/ Plant Science).

- Rs. 35,000/ plus HRA
- Rs. 28,000/ plus HRA
Essential Qualification for CIMAP Job:
- M.Sc. in Biological/ Life Sciences( Botany/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Environmental Science1 Microbiology/ Plant Science) with CSIR/UGC/ICAR/ DBTNET JRF/ LS Qualification or GATE AND ALSO TWO years experience in R & d in a research organisation.
- M.Sc. in Biological/ Life Sciences( Botany/ Biochemistry/Biotechnology/ Environmental Science/ Microbiology/ Plant Science) As Well As TWO years experience in Research and Development in a research organisation.
Desirable: Work experience in Medicinal as well as Aromatic Plants.
Post IV
Name of the Job: Senior Project Associate
No. of Posts: 01
Maximum Age: 40 years
Stipend per month: Rs. 42,000/ plus HRA
Essential Qualification for CIMAP Job:
- M.Sc. in Biological/ Life Sciences( Botany/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Environmental Science/ Microbiology/ Plant Science) AND Four years experience in R & d in research organisation.
- Postgraduate Degree in Biological/ Life Sciences (Other Than Agricultural Sciences).
Desirable: Work experience in Medicinal and also Aromatic Plants.
