Applications are invited by the HOD, Department of Medical Oncology, JAWAHARLAL INSTITUTE OF POSTGRADUATE MEDICAL EDUCATION AND RESEARCH (JIPMER), Puducherry from candidates fulfilling the following eligibility conditions to work as “Research Fellow”, “Junior trial coordinator” and “Senior Trial Coordinator” on a contract basis.

Terms and Conditions:
- This position will be totally on temporary/contractual basis for the specified period of
time as well as based on the project. The engagement can be extended or curtailed at the discretion of the Director. - The current recruitment will certainly be for 6 months and also contract will certainly be renewed depending on the performance of the candidate. The overall duration of the project now is for 3 years.
- Qualification and experience must be in relevant discipline/field and from an
institute of repute. Experience should have been obtained after acquiring the minimum
essential qualification. - Qualification, experience, other terms and conditions can be relaxed/ changed at the
discretion of the Principal Investigator. - The Posts are totally on a contract basis for an externally sponsored project, and no
claim for any regular post in JIPMER shall be entertained. - Valid email id and mobile number are compulsory.
- Consolidated salary of the post may differ once in a while. NO other allowance/facilities aside from consolidated salary will be extended.
- The decision of the principal investigator will certainly be final.
- No TA/DA will certainly be paid for the interview.

- Submission of wrong or false information during the process of selection shall

Post I
For Junior Trial coordinator:
A. Essential:
- Graduate in Life sciences (proof to be submitted)
- 1-year experience in conducting clinical trials (proof to be submitted)
- Ability to converse and read Tamil language
B. Desirable: GCP training ( to produce certificate)
C. Contractual Remuneration: RS.18,000/- (consolidated) per month
D. Maximum Age Limit: 30 years
E. Evaluation criteria: After the evaluation of the application form, an interview will be
conducted.
Post II
For Senior Trial coordinator:
A. Essential:
- Graduate in Life sciences (proof to be submitted)
- 5 years of experience in conducting clinical trials (proof to be submitted)
- Ability to converse and read Tamil language
B. Desirable:
- Additional training in clinical trials
- Pharmaceutical sponsored clinical trials
- GCP training ( to produce certificate)
- Recruitment of subjects in clinical trials
C. Contractual Remuneration: RS.36,000/- (consolidated) per month
D. Maximum Age Limit: 50 years
E. Evaluation criteria: After the evaluation of the application form, an interview will be
conducted.
