Note 1: Before the issue of the present OM dated 10.07.2020 by DST/ CSIR, the nomenclatures for the positions of Project Associate– I as well as II are Project Assistant level II as well as III as well as additionally Project JRF and also SRF and for the position of Senior Project Associate it was Project RA. In view of this, Scientists while submitting their project proposals have actually asked for sanction of these positions as well as they were sanctioned likewise. Essential Qualifications: PhD in Biotechnology
Desirable Qualifications: Experience in advanced microbial technique.
Stipend: Rs. 42,000 plus HRA
For Post II
Essential Qualifications: MSc in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Environmental Science/ Molecular Microbiology with 2 years of research experience in Microalgae cultivation, waste water treatment and biomass valorization.
Stipend: Rs. 35,000 plus HRA
For Post III
Essential Qualifications: MSc in Bioinformatics with two years of experience in database development, drug design, chemoinformatics.
Stipend: Rs. 35,000 plus HRA
For Post IV
Essential Qualifications: MSc in Biotechnology / Environmental Science.
Desirable Qualifications: Research experience in Biomass pre-treatment/ Bio-based materials/ Wastewater treatment.
Stipend: Rs. 31,000 (Consolidated)
For Post V
Essential Qualifications: MSc in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Microbiology
Desirable Qualifications: Research experience in Microbiological techniques/wastewater treatment.
Stipend: Rs. 31,000 plus HRA
For Post VI
Essential Qualifications: BSc in Microbiology
Desirable Qualifications: Experience in laboratory handling and preparation of Chemical & biochemical data bases.
Stipend: Rs. 15,000 (consolidated)
* Fellowship amount is applicable for NET/GATE/GPAT or various other nationwide eligible tests as per new CSIR standards. If suitable students are not found, the fellowship amount will be 25,000/- or 28,000/- versus 31,000/- and 35,000/- respectively with HRA.
